• Professional career based in San Luis Obispo County, along the central coast of California and San Francisco Bay Area.

• Communications Director for eight years at Visit SLO Cal, San Luis Obispo County's premier Destination Marketing Organization (DMO).

• ​Creator and developer of a variety of integrated, multi channel marketing and publicity campaigns. Also, coordinated the communications department, writing press releases, interfaced with the media and created and implemented media and trade tours.

• Editor of eight glossy county visitors guides, with several guides winning top marketing awards from the California Office of Tourism. Over 40,000 guides were printed and distributed all over the world.

• Attended hospitality trade shows, assisted with California's Central Coast Film Commission, coordinated a variety of special events and facilitated community outreach. 

• Editor of San Luis Obispo County Magazine, senior editor, writer, photographer and layout specialist of the San Luis Obispo County Gazette publication.

• Newswriter & assistant to news director at San Luis Obispo's NBC affiliate, KSBY-TV.

• ​Content Coordinator, Layout & Design Specialist for Best Version Media, a successful Forbes 500 company which publishes lifestyle magazines to over 500 communities throughout the United States.

• Writer, editor and photographer for Best Version Media's highly fashionable and popular magazine, Piedmont Living for three years. The 80-page glossy publication showcased the community of Piedmont, California, an affluent city located in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

• Active contributor to Piedmont Living's sister publications, Oakland's Montclair Living and Berkeley Hills Living, which highlighted activities and news in both cities located in the San Francisco East Bay Area. All three publications were sent out monthly to over 60,000 homeowners in the area.

• Member, Bay Area Travel Writers (BATW) - Group of professional journalists, public relations specialists and media coordinators. 

• Graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in Communications- Broadcast Journalism  minor in creative writing and English.
